Stockings:  Anna Kendrick has gone with a plain pair of long black stockings for this photo shoot.

Positioning:  The way Anna is sitting is a little awkward, but is meant to portray a ‘mermaid’ look.  The way she is looking at the camera almost looks as though she has been drugged or is in a daze.

Outfit:  Her outfit is extremely balanced.  As you can see, her top has elements of black and tan just like her stockings.  The skirt that she is wearing is a lighter tan- used to break up the rest of the outfit without adding any additional colors to it.  The skirt also balances with all of the skin left uncovered.

Hair:  Anna’s hair is pulled back into a bun with her short layers left in the front.  Had her hair been left down, she would look a little more open and awake.

Bottom Line:  This outfit works if the wearer is planning on staying in with a partner.
